It is natural to feel nervous or apprehensive to meet a counsellor for the first time.
My aim is to provide you with a welcoming safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space to talk about what is troubling you.
I work from a range of therapeutic and analytical approaches, which will allow me to assist you in your healing, increased self-awareness, and personal growth. Counselling is tailored to your needs and personality.
First Appointment
Your first session is an opportunity to experience what it will be like to work with me. It will include an assessment of your overall wellbeing.
This is a 60-minute appointment.
Subsequent Appointments
After your initial appointment subsequent appointments will be 50 minutes.
The number of sessions will depend on the work we do together and we will review this regularly.
Some people chose to attend for 6 to 8 weeks and others prefer to continue for longer. We will work together for as long as you need to within the parameters of the counselling relationship.
It’s healthy as part of the counselling relationship, to bear the eventual ending of counselling in mind. You can choose to stop counselling at any time.
You can choose to meet with me in the following ways:
How we meet is going to depend on what feels most comfortable to you. If you are unsure about what would be best for you, we can talk about this in a complimentary 20-minute telephone consultation.
