I have a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice and a CPD certificate in outdoor therapy.
I’ve gained my experience in a hospice setting working with clients who have lost loved ones and clients who themselves are chronically or terminally ill. I also have general counselling experience which includes working with NHS staff.
I've helped my clients with anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, depression, work-related stress, family issues and low self confidence.
My experience includes working with adults who have cancer, and clients who've lost loved ones.
I also work people who live with chronic illnesses (like fibromyalgia and CFS/M.E.). If you're struggling with an illness and the accompanying feelings of isolation, loneliness, loss, anxiety, anger, and being misunderstood, do get in touch. I understand and I can help.
I am based in Buxton and Whaley Bridge.
I use a variety of counselling techniques (an integrative approach) tailored to your specific needs and personality.
Sessions are 60 minutes. Most clients meet with me weekly or every second week.
I work with both short and long term clients.
